Through its drilling projects, the Navy has been able to provide critical access to clean drinking water for an estimated 200,000 people in Honduras. This effort has had a powerful, life-changing impact on those who have been able to reap its rewards.

Julio Cesar Reyes, the Honduran Mayor, pointed out that the Navy’s initiatives in drilling wells had a remarkable effect in their region. Reyes highlighted the importance of their contribution, as they currently have access to pristine drinking water that has boosted the citizens’ health and wellbeing.
