Established in 1966, the Maine Water Well Drilling Association’s mission is to actively represent the water well drilling industry in Maine. Comprised of water well drilling contractors, pump installers, and water treatment specialists, the Association provides its members with educational and networking opportunities to ensure their interests are best represented. Through the MWWDA, members are working together to ensure Maine’s water well drilling industry is supported and efficient.

The MWWDA is dedicated to making sure water wells in Maine are established and kept up correctly. Towards this end, the Association offers members a range of formative programs and materials, such as courses on drilling wells, installing pumps, and treating water. Plus, the Association also grants its members access to a database of companies that drill wells and install pumps, as well as a directory of certified water treatment experts.

The Maine Water Well Drilling Association (MWWDA) fulfills an important role in facilitating adherence to state and federal regulations concerning water well drilling for the entire industry in Maine.
